Power returning, but heat still on Southern California Edison
LOS ANGELES -- Only about 2,300 of the hundreds of thousands of
Southern California Edison customers who lost power in last week's windstorm
remained without electricity today, but the utility nonetheless found itself
under fire for what many regard as the glacial pace of service restoration.
